post 2004-onward. Las Plagas provided Jack's undeath. Assumed to be only a corpse post Separate Ways and underneath Albert Wesker's custody to be disposed of, the strength of Las Plagas persists even still. Half rotting, half alive, the Major lives once more---intent on returning to Valdelobos.

iv. 2004.
2004. the events of RE4, where Jack has accepted the temptation of Osmund's gift unto him, and he is only a host to the dominant strain of Las Plagas.
